Daniel Kerr has successfully hijacked this comment thread, so let's refocus: regardless of who fired a tear gas canister at Scott Olsen, it seems highly likely that a police officer who had previously killed three people and cost the city half a million dollars cavalierly tossed a flash-bang grenade at an injured man.

Regardless of who really injured Scot Olsen now, John Seal says the cops "cavalierly tossed a flash-bang grenade at an injured man." They did not they threw it BY him at the Black Bloc. How many feet away?

I didnt say Black Bloc tactics did I ? It is clearly a description of the people clad in all black running towards the downed vet and police barricade.

Umm, Daniel, uh, the people who clustered around Olsen weren't wearing masks. Some might have been wearing black, but most were dressed in the usual mixture of jeans, t-shirts, hoodies and so on.

Oakland Has a New Sheriff: It's commendable that Santana is shaking things up in City Council, but she may want to clean up her own house before throwing stones at others.
