I have to take issue the idea that jealousy has to be part of this equation. It is the ego that harbours jealousy and needs attention - and nullifying the ego, nullifies jealousy whether a person is in a monogamous relationship, a polyamorous relationship or even single.

No prudent business should go without liability insurance. Just about every commercial insurance broker can provide clients with an Employers Liability policy, which will defend against lawsuits like this.

The classification of cannabis as "a drug with a high potential for abuse with no accepted medical use and unsafe for use under medical supervision", the most heinous class of illegal drug there is, is unexplainable, except for 80 year-old history. And how can good clinical studies be done on an herb that is illegal for medical use?

Stephanie, I don't think you really mean that jealousy is not a natural part of our emotional makeup, do you? Some of us are more likely to feel this emotion than others, some of us may hardly ever, or OK, never, experience it, but this must be very, very rare.

EBMUD should be praised for this bold step and encouraged to take the next one: full support for National Wild and Scenic River designation for the Mokelumne. They already support designation of about 35+ miles of the river, except for the area that was to be inundated by the larger dam.

I would rather support gay marriage than this exploitation of other human bodies while one is consummated and joined to another in an exclusive relationship. I have been divorced for almost 2 decades, and it is hard enough to find ONE compatible partner.

Finally...someone is reporting what I have noticed in the last 2 weeks...a massive flooding of the so-called PRECIOUS park in front of City Hall in Oakland. SHAME ON THE CITY COUNCIL FOR CLEARLY SEEING THE LAKE IN FRONT OF THEIR WORKPLACE AND IGNORING IT!!!

Yes, I remember very soon after the second time they raided the camp, I was out there for a general assembly and we all noticed the sprinklers running. One person pointed out that in the bathrooms up in City Hall there are signs asking people to please spare the water since we have a water shortage... but it's not like hypocrisy from Oakland City government is some new and startling phenomenon.
